Rev Philip Burns continues the series of sermons on ‘The Disciple’s Prayer’ by highlighting the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:10, ‘Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven’. By these words Jesus taught that we must always pray for the arrival of the fullness of God’s Kingdom and be willing to live as ‘kingdom bearers’ in the world. Praying for God’s will to be done involves submission and obedience to all that God has revealed in the obedient way that his will is carried out in heaven above.
