Did you know that Ezra wrote more of the Bible that Paul? That fact caught me by surprise! Yet not man y people seem to know much about Ezra the man, let alone the book that bears his name! Our next sermon series (commencing July 3) at St John’s will be on Ezra (the book). Come and join us each week at 10:30am or catch up with the audio from each week on this very page.

Home Groups launch dinner
Home Groups are such an integral part of our church life at Bendigo (St John’s) Presbyterian. For a couple of years now we’ve met together for dinner at the start of the ‘Home Group year’ to decide upon groups and venues and leaders, as well as meet together for a meal and pray together in our Home Groups.
This year’s launch will be on Thursday night Feb 18th at the Church Hall in Forest Street from 6pm. (Bring a mains/sweet!)
Look for us at ‘Scots’ Day Out’
This year’s ‘Scots’ Day Out’ in Bendigo will be held in Rosalind Park on February 13th. We’ll be there so look out for us and come and say ‘hi!’ 🙂 (What are we doing there?…oh…well… our denomination has a rich Scottish heritage… but that doesn’t mean you have to be Scottish to come to our church!)
