It was a beautiful day in Bendigo today for the extra (leap year) day and also the 2020 Scots Day in Rosalind Park.
It was great to be part of our Scots Day Out Team, handing out free biscuits and gospel leaflets, chatting to the many people who passed our tent, helping children to enjoy some colouring-in and generally raising the profile of the three Presbyterian churches in Bendigo. Bring on SDO 2021!
A hot and tiring day at Scots Day out 2019, but we were glad to serve our community and share the task with friends from our sister Church at Eaglehawk.
Another great today today, working together as a team in being a presence and a witness to people from all over the place who come to Bendigo’s Scots Day Out! (We’re the ones wearing the blue polo shirts!)
It was hot…too hot…but we had a great time handing out free ‘scotch biscuits’ and leaflets about how the Presbyterian Church found it’s way to Bendigo…and how people can get in contact with us today plus some good news from God! We also had opportunity for people to complete a quiz on Scotland’s geography, culture and religious history! Phew! Exhausting! But all worth it! Thanks team for a great effort!
